Kevin McGuigan has over 3 decades of experience practicing law across various Provinces and up to the Supreme Court of Canada.  He has been successful for his clients in a number of complex class actions.  Throughout his career, there have been many clients that have come to Kevin after using other counsel and not getting the result they seek.  Kevin McGuigan has had tremendous success with resolving matters to the benefit of his clients, in ways that keep legal costs down and ultimately provide a solution that is in the best interests of his clients.  Kevin has been a lecturer for the CPLED program in Alberta for many years and has helped with teaching or assessing a number of different areas on their behalf.

Many of Kevin’s decisions have had an impact on the development of law over the last many years.  One example of which is the Soost v. Merrill Lynch case, which is an employment claim that has established precedents in law that are relied upon today by lawyers that practice employment law.  Kevin has run trials of various complexity and length and has vast experience with trials and appeals in commercial and civil litigation.

Kevin has an undergraduate degree in commerce, which provides him with the background and strength to litigate complex commercial claims.

Active in the community, Kevin has been involved with a number of charitable organizations over the years.Kevin is quite proud of his involvement with the Al Azhar Shriners and the work they do to help provide specialize care and treatment for children.
